Muriel M. Burke-Love

Muriel M. Burke-Love has been advocating for clients for over 20 years. Muriel’s desire to become an attorney started at a young age through her personal experiences with family trauma and dysfunction. Although initially attracted to a career as a social worker, Muriel soon realized she could do more to protect children within the legal system and decided to become a family law attorney.

Heath Wells

Associate Attorney
Heath B. Wells was born and raised in Bonners Ferry, Idaho and has deep roots in this community and this state. He chose to pursue a legal career later in life after first obtaining degrees and working in Agriculture as an Agronomist. He got his Juris Doctor from the University of Gonzaga School of Law, and has been practicing in Idaho ever since. His legal interests are extensive and include Real Property and Contract law but he has found that he can make a positive impact in the area of family law. With an fierce desire to protect children during these massively life changing experiences, Heath brings a sense of calm and rational problem solving to the table in order to best serve his clients legal interests.
Jarrett Broughton III

Associate Attorney
Jarrett graduated from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2023. Jarrett started with our firm as a student legal intern, and we are excited to have him join us as an associate attorney. Originally from Colorado, Jarrett has lived throughout the western United States. Jarrett completed his Bachelor's in Political Science at Colorado Mesa University in 2019. Jarrett finds particular enjoyment in the areas of real property, contract law, family law, and mediation; though he is always looking to expand his legal knowledge. He believes in strong advocacy for his clients, and in settling matters fairly and promptly. In his free time, you will find Jarrett at the nearest golf course, hiking in the Rocky Mountains, or rafting one of our many rivers.

Carol Bonello

Paralegal and Office Manager
Carol has extensive experience as a paralegal professional supporting attorneys in handling a wide variety of legal issues. She has degrees from The Pennsylvania State University and Widener University School of Law. She and her husband Bruce, and their two rescue dogs Tucker and Carson, relocated from the east coast to northern Idaho in 2018. In her time away from work, Carol enjoys cooking, physical fitness, reading and spending time with her family.
Becca Jaime

Paralegal
Becca graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. She has also earned her Paralegal Certificate from Purdue University Global. In 2017, Becca joined the Navy Reserves as a Utilitesman for the Seabees. In her free time, Becca loves to lift weights, read mystery/thriller novels, and play with her adorable Belgian Malinois puppy, Ash.
Rai-Shel Getzlaff

Paralegal
Rai-Shel comes to Muriel M. Burke-Love, P.C. with over 25 years of experience between Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. She is currently working on completing her universal Court Reporter certification. She has an adorable dog named Murphy, and she enjoys refinishing furniture, quilting, or reading a good book in her spare time.
Jeri Murinko

Legal Assistant
Prior to joining our team as Legal Secretary, Jeri spent 8 years working in the Kootenai County prosecutor’s office, where she supported attorneys in criminal and juvenile law. Jeri has made Idaho her home for the past 26 years, and has raised 3 boys here. In her free time, Jeri enjoys traveling, the outdoors, working with her rescue horses, and spending time with family.
